Founder of Your Laundry Room — and someone who’s always believed that the everyday can feel a little magical, when it’s done with care.

That belief started young. I grew up in my family’s laundromat in Bondi, where shirts were folded just right, the regulars felt like friends, and the smallest moments were full of heart. I didn’t realise how rare that was — until I visited other laundromats. Same machines, totally different energy.

That stayed with me.

Your Laundry Room was born from that feeling — and from a simple idea: that laundry doesn’t have to be just another chore. It can be a reset. A pause. A moment to ground yourself while the spin cycle hums in the background.

It all came together when I read The Miracle of Mindfulness. That book reminded me that presence lives in the smallest acts — folding a shirt, taking a breath, sipping tea between loads. That’s the energy I wanted to bring into this space.

Now, that philosophy flows through everything we do — the layout, the lighting, the playlists, the scent in the air. It’s a laundromat, yes. But it’s also a little moment of calm in a busy day.

Whether you’re in and out on a midweek mission or taking your time on a Sunday reset — this is your space. Come as you are.

We care about the planet, too. Every detail has been chosen with intention — from the low-waste systems and energy-efficient machines, to the gentle detergents that are kinder on your clothes and the earth.

And everyone’s welcome here. This is a space made for people — not just customers. Pet-friendly, accessible, inclusive. Because mindful spaces should feel good for every body.
